A Ginger article!

I came across this article just now and wanted to share i with all of you! I love it :D

She is a gentle, poetic soul and has a great love and affinity for music. Because many of her feelings are vague and she cannot easily verbalize how she experiences life, music seems a natural language for Rogers. She is also extremely romantic and often "in love with love".

Rogers works well with the public and has an instinct for what the public wants and will respond to. Having a "nest" is not especially important to Ginger, and she may invest more of her emotional energy into her career or public life than in her private life. Providing and caring for others, in a professional capacity is very likely.

She is dedicated to the people she cares about and conscientious about meeting her responsibilities, especially to family. Family solidarity and cohesiveness are very important to Ginger Rogers and so, therefore, are the traditions, rituals, and memories that keep the bonds strong.

Ginger Rogers is apt to do more than her fair share in the family, to go the extra mile, but for the most part this is satisfying rather than burdensome to her.

The beauty and harmony of her surroundings have a very powerful effect on Rogers' emotions. She is very sensitive and cannot stand to be in an atmosphere where there is discord or dissonance. Gentle, kindhearted, and peace loving, Ginger Rogers is prepared to sacrifice a great deal in order to avoid a fight and to "make everyone happy".

She is getting quickly excited by other people and will probably have many relationships that are terminated just as quickly as they are made. Ginger Rogers does not like to be alone and she always keeps her house open for her friends and acquaintances.

She is quietly devoted and faithful to her loved ones and often becomes subservient to her love partner. Ginger Rogers is more comfortable showing her love by doing or making something for her loved one, or simply being there for her, rather than by making any romantic, soul-stirring declarations. She is timid about expressing too much sentiment or emotion. Ginger Rogers also underestimates her attractiveness and lovability and doubts her own worthiness of love and appreciation.

A warm, loving, and comfortable home is very important to Ginger Rogers and she invests a lot of her energy into beautifying, decorating, and creating a lovely home. Also, Ginger shares her affection with the people in her family very generously and having close family relationships is a major priority for her. Being at home makes Rogers happy.

Ginger Rogers loves to laugh, celebrate, and to enjoy herself with her companions. Emotionally open and easygoing, Ginger considers just about anyone a friend or potential friend. Her good humor and friendliness make her quite popular and well-liked. At times, Ginger Rogers overdoes the festivities, but she rarely regrets this.

  1. Hmmm... very cool - is this a horoscope or something? It does seem to fit her to a 'T', although I am not big on the horoscope stuff....ALTHOUGH Ginger and I are both Cancers, whatever THAT is worth... hey, it's SOMETHING in common, right? :-]

"...prepared to sacrifice a great deal in order to avoid a fight..." I am EXACTLY like that... I HATE any type of conflict, simply because no good can ever come from it, and typically makes things worse... so we would be pretty 'harmonious' together, in theory...

Thanks for the article, Anna - makes one pause and ponder the complex beauty of Ginger!

  3. in order to avoid a fight??? wait a second if I remember correctly she mentioned something about Fred avoiding conflicts where she was the one going in ready to fight - both fists up! I think it was referring to the "They Can't Take That Away From Me" song being added to the Barkleys score and someone else took credit for it.

  4. ...now that you mention it, the 'ostrich dress' episode pretty much blows the 'avoid conflict and sacrifice to do so' out of the water! Oh well, Ginger was so cool ANY characteristic she displayed would have been fine with me... I think I know enough about her to determine she had 'moxie', and was cordial to others, yet not taking any crpa off of anyone, either! ROCK ON, Ginger!!!

  5. ...BTW... what is 'crpa'? must have meant 'crap'... now that I mention it, that is an unfortunate word...let's replace that with 'tomfoolery', one of my faves...

Thanks for your patience, and we deeply regret the error...

    Sincerely,
